 Welcome to the CSX Boston Line website. CSX's Boston Line
is consisted of several subdivisions; mainly the Boston, Berkshire, and Castleton. On most days, 20-30 trains can be seen,
the majority of those being intermodal.
CSX prefer's to use GE six-axles to haul tonnage over Washington Hill. However, EMD
SD70MAC's and SD70ACe's are also prevelant on the B&A.
